15 weeks

We made it to 15 weeks! According to my silly app it says she is approximately 4 inches, 2.5 ounces and her eyes are moving from the side of her head to her face (WHAT????).

This last week we tried to change our PHP and had/are having a hell of a time. The medical world is so frustrating. I understand why people with mental illnesses end up not getting treatment. It’s like impossible to navigate the system when you’re healthy and happy. Frankly every time I have to call the doctors office or the insurance company I end up wanting to scream and yell at someone and then am so exhausted I can barely work the rest of the day. How do people with normal 9-5 jobs do this? If I was in that situation…I just don’t think it’d get done.

I had an absolute blast of a weekend! We had a girls camping trip up to the property in Montana. It’s the first time we’ve done a group camp out like that and it was AMAZING! Because I knew at least one of the girls needed to bring her dog, I didn’t bring Xion which meant I got to do a lot of things up there that normally I wouldn’t do with him. He cries his poor little head off if I get too far away from him so normally I wouldn’t be able to do things like get in the waterfall at Snow Creek Falls. But I did that! We also went paddle boarding around a very secluded lake. Overall, we just had a blast! It poured rain on us one night and thank goodness we had a big tent that we could all hang out in together to wait out the storm.

I am so thankful that I’m feeling up to going on those types of adventures! I hope that this continues the rest of the pregnancy.

In other pregnancy symptom updates. Gluten is still not bothering me so I’ve been taking advantage of eating all the things that normally I don’t get to (like waffle cones! and bagels!). I’ve started to have more headaches which is irritating. And probably the longest term symptom is my right ear is constantly plugged. That’s pretty irritating but I’d much rather have that then constant nausea.
